Museum of Ethnography in Geneva was found in 1901, its seven academic departments are devoted to the cultures of Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. The four floors of a historic building of the 20th century are taken by Museum of Patek Philippe Company.
Museum of Art and History was found in 1903-1910, and conceived as an encyclopedic museum. Geneva is the birthplace of the International Red Cross. This museum is completely dedicated to its work. Switzerland's largest museum, devoted to automobiles, contains over three hundred cars of the different types. It is not the end of the list of the famous museums.
